Also, this volleyball game was followed by a very special birthday salute to 6th grade social studies and math teacher, Tomeka Hawthorne, by local RMS student, Roberta Tubbs. That's right Tom. Principal Natalie James picked her to sing "Happy Birthday" to Hawthorne because she said she would never forget this moment.
